Elements of the Mexican Army and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) seized 1,750 kilos of methamphetamine, as well as 150 liters of acetone used to manufacture the drug, in a house in Los Naranjos, east of Culiacan.
The Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) announced that the discovery was made after the agents learned of the existence of the clandestine laboratory in the town.
In coordination with the Attorney General’s Office, an operation was deployed to locate the place, which was recognized by the strong smell of chemical substances emanating from it.
The seizure of the property and the drugs, which will be subject to expert tests to determine their nature, took place on November 11, after the FGR obtained a search warrant.
