It’s a fact of life. Politicians dodge questions. To be fair, both sides of the aisle do it, but Democrats have perfected the art of ducking, dodging, and weaving when it comes to a straight answer about just about everything, especially their ridiculous ideas. It was bad enough that they dodged questions about the policies they want to force on the American people. But when it came to answering questions about former President Joe Biden’s mental state, if dodgeball were an Olympic sport, the team would be made up entirely of Democrats. American media are too lazy to call them on it, but others, not so much.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris’s never-ending book tour recently took her to London, where she sat down with Australian Broadcasting Corporation reporter Sarah Ferguson. Many members of the American media have asked Harris about Biden’s cognitive slide, and about when she might have noticed it becoming more pronounced. Ferguson asked about it as well:

Wasn’t Joe Biden, and to put it on him, wasn’t it his refusal to recognize his own frailties, the reason that you faced a nearly impossible task?

If Ferguson had never been treated to an infamous Kamala Harris word salad, this was her initiation. Harris replied:

I ran against Donald Trump for president and Donald Trump ran on a platform that was in large part, I believe, misrepresenting his intentions to the American people. I do believe that there are a fair number of people that voted for Donald Trump who believed him when he told them that his first priority on day one is going to be to bring down prices, and he didn’t. And you combine that misrepresentation of intention with also what was at play in terms of massive amounts of misinformation and a truncated calendar in terms of the clock.

Harris couldn’t even put the finishing touches on said word salad when Ferguson couldn’t take it anymore and interrupted her.

I want to interrupt you because that is a world-class pivot, but it is not the question that I asked you, which is about Joe Biden’s failure to recognize his own frailties and what that did to you. The question is about Joe Biden. Are you still reluctant to criticize the former president?

Harris’s reaction to someone not thinking her linguistic drivel was the most brilliant thing they had ever heard was also priceless. After a bit of sparring, Harris maintained that Biden “was not frail as president.” Ferguson then brought up Biden’s alarming performance during the June 2024 presidential debate against Donald Trump and said, “But he had frailties. We all saw the debate.” Harris then goes on to explain that her concerns were not over Biden’s cognitive capabilities and ability to be president, but whether he would be able to endure a grueling presidential campaign schedule.

As my colleague Nick Arama reported, Kamala Harris recently dropped hints to a BBC interviewer that she may be considering another presidential run. The interviewer acknowledged that she was ahead in a few polls, but betting odds had her coming in behind Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Could it be that even those who voted for her in the past are done with a steady diet of Harris word salads?

As more information about just how bad Joe Biden’s mental decline was, and who knew about it, comes out in the form of the autopen scandal, there is no way that Kamala Harris would convince anyone but die-hard leftists that she knew nothing of it. She told the BBC, “I’m not done.” Yes, you are. You just don’t know it yet.

The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
