Come on, New York. You’ve got to be kidding with this guy. It’s not enough that Zohran Mamdani is an admitted socialist (read that: Communist). It’s not enough that he claims to want to slap what few remaining prosperous New Yorkers with taxes, some of which he has no power to impose. It’s not enough, in fact, that he doesn’t seem to understand that his powers as mayor would be limited. It’s not enough that he has a laundry list of loony-tunes communist ideas, like government-owned grocery stores, where patrons can re-live the glory years of the Soviet Union while waiting two hours in line for a couple of pounds of potatoes, and rejoice on hearing the announcement that the weekly chocolate ration has been increased from 30 grams to 20 grams. (Yes, you read that right.)

Any of these items should be enough to have a sane electorate warming up the tar and bringing out bags of feathers. But wait! There’s more! The commie Mamdani is doubling down on his claim that he would arrest Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, should that man ever come to New York.
Democratic New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani doubles down on a promise that he would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he comes to the city.
“It is important that New York City is in compliance with international criminal law,” Mamdani said in an interview with The New York Times.
Mamdani may as well piously pronounce that New York City is also in compliance with Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics, but that doesn’t give him any power to enforce them. Even some of Mamdani’s fellow Democrats have realized that, and are calling him on it.
Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., pushed back on Mamdani’s comments, saying that New York City doesn’t have jurisdiction to do that.
He told the newspaper that Mamdani’s proposal was “simply unrealistic.”
Mamdani said during an interview with Mehdi Hasan last year that he would arrest Netanyahu if he came to New York City.
“As mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu,” Mamdani told the MSNBC host. “This is a city that our values are in line with international law. It’s time that our actions are also.”

Mr. Mamdani – assuming the voters of New York City are insane enough to elect you, which sadly seems likely – there’s just one problem with your claim:
You can’t do it.

For one thing, Prime Minister Netanyahu has diplomatic immunity in the United States, per the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. He can’t be arrested, no matter what the International Criminal Court (ICC) – of which the United States is not a member – thinks about it. If you try to have him arrested, you would be giving your police officers, assuming any remain in New York after your election, an illegal order.
For another thing, even if the United States were still a signatory to the ICC, and even if Prime Minister Netanyahu were no longer in office and visiting the USA as a private citizen, any such arrest would almost certainly be the province of the FBI or U.S. Marshals, not the City of New York.
Zohran Mamdani is, once again, opening his mouth without bothering to engage that pink think-goo between his ears. That’s his usual modus operandi, after all.

And this guy is likely to be the next Mayor of New York. What a revolting development.
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
