Poza Rica, Veracruz (Vanguardia de Veracruz) – It has been reported that Ciro G. P., known as “El Puchini” was stabbed to death inside the Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas prison, where he was transferred on Monday.
In 1994 he left the ranks of the Mexican Army and was accused of leading a criminal gang in the northern area of Veracruz, San Luis Potosi and Guanajuato, so the authorities carried out an investigation and on October 30, 2015, with the support of police from Pachuca, Hidalgo, they proceeded to apprehend him.
After being presented before the judge who claimed him, he was transferred to the Mengolí de Morelos prison in the municipality of Miahuatlán, Oaxaca, where on Monday he would have obtained his freedom, but state agents of investigation of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Tamaulipas, with support from their Oaxacan counterparts, served him with an arrest warrant for the death of a woman in that entity, based on the criminal process 32/2021 of the First Instance Criminal Judge of the Third Judicial District and, injuries in aggravation of J. N. S. and L. E. C. T.
Before this he was taken to the Execution Center of Sanctions of Nuevo Laredo, accused of presumed intentional homicide, and around 03:50 hours of this Friday he would have been mowed down with at least 60 stab wounds, being the presumed responsible ones Valentín M. and Ernesto G.
