“Sol Prendido” for Borderland Beat

A group of armed men have arrived at a person’s residence. Are they policemen acting under color of law or actual criminal figures on the prowl searching for a specific target?

Luckily for the man who answered the knock, a wrought iron security door keeps him at bay from the suspicious individuals. The astute counter questioning by the brave resident buys him some time.

It also displays to the armed males that he won’t be cowed by their belligerent behavior. Although this is quite a dangerous thing to do as an unarmed individual.

Many fed up citizens living in a constant climate of insecurity would rather stand their ground instead of willingly becoming another crime statistic.

Video translation is as follows:

Gunman #1: Come out, come out, come out.

Resident: What do you want?

Gunman #1: Come out, come out, come out.

Resident: No, no, no.

Gunman #1: Come the fuck out here you fool!

Gunman #2: Look around in the back of the house.

Resident: I’m the only person inside and I live here.

Gunman #1: Ok, come on out then.

Resident: I live here.

Gunman #1: Come outside.

Resident: Why am I coming outside?

Gunman #1: Come outside.

Resident: You’re on private property.

Gunman #1: Come outside.

Resident: You’re on private property.

Gunman: Come on out while you still can.

Resident: These men are on my property and are accusing me of being a baddie. They’re on their way out now. I was accused of being some baddie. They’re leaving. I have no idea who they are.
