Guadalupe Tapia Quintero “Lupe Tapia” was known to be a high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel and a close collaborator of the Mayo Zambada faction. Lupe Tapia was key in the non-aggression pact that currently exists between Mayo Zambada, and Los Chapitos with Fausto Isidro Meza-Flores “Chapo Isidro.”
BACKGROUND ON LUPE TAPIA
Lupe Tapia with the blessing of Ismael “Mayo” Zambada-Garcia talked to Chapo Isidro, so the fighting would stop between Chapo Isidro’s troops against Chapos-Mayo’s criminal cells. This is according to a source who asked to remain anonymous,
“Lupe Tapia went to talk to Chapo Isidro with the slogan of making the truce on behalf of Mayo.
And therefore with the whole cartel to pacify Sinaloa, whether the Chapos agreed or not.
It was one of the things that the Chapitos had to do if they wanted to do it or not.”
LUPE TAPIA FALLS
The COLT Super .38 Automatic Pistol seen above was a gift from “Lupe Tapia” to a hitman for a completed job. In Mexico, druglords are known to either pay with money, cars, or gold-plated guns whenever a job have been completed as agreed.
