The Australian still has a shot at making the final as she falls off the final boulder of the semifinals, but the superstars of the sport are coming for her.

In the bouldering, climbers get 5 points for getting to a specific hold low in the climb, 10 for a hold slightly further up, or 25 for finishing the climb (0.1 of a point is deducted for every attempt it takes the climber to get to that point.

So, there is a maximum of 100 points available in this semi.

Oceania Mackenzie got 79.6 with a flash on the first problem, sending boulder 2 on her second go and boulder 3 on her third. She then took two attempts to get the low five-point zone hold on the final climb, which is a delicate slab with slippery feet and tiny handholds. It could bring even the strongest climbers unstuck.

My nerves are frayed as some of the best climbers in the world are chasing her down.
