Support for Demons

As a dedicated Hawker I will be backing Melbourne for I think the first time in my long life. We’re 2 points short of where we should be ( still can’t work out how) so hopefully the Dees can give us the gap we screwed up.

The Demons are enjoying a revival under first-year coach Steven King.

They’re sixth on the ladder and have won their past two matches for a 5-2 record.

Harrison Petty and Paddy Cross are the Demons’ inclusions to face the Swans.

Jai Culley (injury) and Xavier Taylor (omitted) are the ‘outs’.

The Swans are sitting pretty in third spot on the ladder, having compiled a 6-1 (win-loss) record through seven rounds.

They welcome back Isaac Heeney, who was a late withdrawal last week against the Bulldogs due to a calf injury.

Lewis Melican has also been named in the Swans’ squad, replacing the injured Tom McCartin (knee).

Harry Cunningham has been omitted.

Congratulations to Brodie Grundy, who will play his 250th AFL match.

… And so are the Dees!
