It sounds like Iran is being Iran again.
President Donald Trump announced they had a deal on the table, they were working toward signing, after he put more pressure on them with strikes around Iran and talking about seizing Kharg Island, the vital oil hub.

But Trump has just had to put the kibosh on media reports floating out there as to what is in the deal, blaming Iran for spreading nonsense.

“The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth. Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith.
AMAZING! Also, their totally rebuffed Drone attack last night against Indian Ships leaving the Hormuz Strait is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They better get their act together, and FAST!”
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) claimed that Iran would make no commitment regarding management of the Strait of Hormuz, when the Trump team has been saying right down the line that Iran cannot be left to manage the Strait.

Instead, the future administration of the Strait reportedly would be decided through dialogue and joint decision-making between Iran and Oman, a country in close proximity to the area.
IRNA also claimed discussion about the nuclear program wouldn’t start until after the agreement was signed. Both of those are against what the Trump team’s red lines are.
A White House official revealed to Fox News on Friday that Iran has agreed to a “performance based deal” that contains multiple components.
“This is what they agreed to. This is a performance-based deal,” the official said.
The official described that under the deal, Iran’s nuclear program will be dismantled and their nuclear material will be destroyed and removed.
The Strait of Hormuz will reopen, Iran will no longer fund terrorist groups and none of Tehran’s frozen assets will be released until the regime performs, the official added.
So nothing like the IRNA is saying.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei did confirm that the text of a deal with the United States to end the conflict is “mostly finalized.” So that is similar to what Trump has said.

Trump also spoke about Iranian drones. That appears to be a reference to the regime attempting another strike on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Again, Iran’s effort was squashed.
“It appears Iran has attempted to strike commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz tonight,” the official said. “U.S. forces shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones.”
The official said maritime traffic through the Strait continues despite the attempted attacks.
U.S. Central Command also echoed that comment about the Strait being open, noting they’d helped get out hundreds of ships.
