In a 2025 interview, Luckey called himself a “radical Zionist.” Anduril later declared Israel had its “unqualified support” as the defense giant moved to establish an Israeli operation.

Palmer Luckey, the founder of defense-tech giant Anduril, declared himself a “radical Zionist” in a 2025 interview — then explained that he believes Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state.

“I’m actually a radical Zionist,” Luckey said during a February 2025 interview on the Shawn Ryan Show. When Ryan asked what he meant, Luckey said Israel should exist as a Jewish state and treated the question of a Palestinian state as “a separate political issue,” according to contemporaneous coverage.

Luckey’s position appears in more than one interview. In October 2023, Anduril’s official account posted that Luckey had said, “Israel has my [and our] unqualified support,” during the Wall Street Journal’s Tech Live conference.

Anduril builds autonomous defense systems, including drones, surveillance technology, aircraft, underwater vehicles, and artificial-intelligence command platforms. The company’s public posture now tracks a reported business move into Israel.

In September, Globes reported that Anduril selected former Israeli Air Force commander Amikam Norkin to lead its Israeli-market entry. The Israeli business newspaper reported the appointment had not yet been officially announced, but said company officials had met Israeli Defense Ministry leaders and defense-company executives while building a permanent presence.

Luckey’s personal declaration, Anduril’s official support statement, and its reported Israeli operation all point in the same direction.
