Zohran Mamdani is finding himself in dishonorable company.
Sleazy House Democrat Ro Khanna (CA-17) is joining the New York City mayor’s call to have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested.

“The American president should arrest Netanyahu or [Russian President Vladimir] Putin in accordance with international law. Full stop,” Khanna said. “America needs to cooperate with the ICC. It’s a matter of human rights, and it’s a matter of a rules-based international order.”

Khanna argued that the United States should enforce the warrant if Netanyahu enters U.S. jurisdiction.
“If the ICC has an arrest warrant for someone, they should be arrested by America if they come into American jurisdiction. It’s simple international law,” Khanna said.
Khanna added, “You can’t just kill women and children, have an ICC arrest warrant, and then walk into the United States of America and think nothing is going to happen to you. If you come to our jurisdiction, America is a country that’s gonna enforce international law.”

Epic Fail: Mamdani Finally Makes Humiliating Admission About His Threat to Arrest Netanyahu
He joins Mamdani with the insipid call to action. The Islamo-communist mayor recently urged President Trump to detain the Israeli leader if he enters the United States, pointing to an International Criminal Court warrant.

Mamdani later acknowledged that although New York City lacks the legal authority to arrest a foreign head of state, he argued that federal authorities do possess that power.
Fat chance Trump agrees with him. Trump rejected the idea on Truth Social: “Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested, in any way, shape, or form, while in the United States of America.”

That should have been the end of the debate. But if you are trying to start a flame war with antisemitism, what’s a little gasoline to those who want to burn all of Israel down?
The Democratic officials are pointing to an ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu issued in 2024, which accused him of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The ICC warrant stems from Israel’s military campaign against Hamas in Gaza. Israel rejects the allegations, and the United States is not a party to the Rome Statute that established the court.
Here is something you won’t hear from Mamdani. The ICC also issued a warrant for Mohammed Deif, then-commander of Hamas’s military wing, for crimes against humanity and war crimes tied to the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.
So the mayor’s false moral equivalence and cherry-picking of the ICC court to single out his ideological enemies isn’t fooling anyone. Israel has the right to defend itself, just like any other country. This right is undeniable and supersedes “international law.”

It is not a “crime against humanity” to defend your right to exist. Every human being has a right to self-defense. If Israel’s enemies want to stop being attacked, there is a simple solution: Recognize Israel’s right to exist and move on.
The problem is that the ICC has all of the authority of a high school model U.N. in the United States. These Democratic politicians should be loyal to the U.S. Constitution and not to foreign, unrecognized courts.
It is also ironic that Khanna and Mamdani have nothing to say about Islamist regimes that ritually violate human rights, including the persecution of Christians, women, and gays. That includes Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
Or the totalitarian regime of Communist China. Or the Cuban communist regime. Or the socialist tyranny in Colombia.
Thus, it is rich to hear Khanna feign to care about human rights, while condemning Donald Trump.
“He’s not a law-and-order president, and he doesn’t really care about human rights or international law,” the congressman said. “It’s embarrassing to the United States and to the world community.”
As if this wasn’t enough to doubt Khanna’s intellectual honesty, there is the matter of a recent publicity stunt that he pulled to smear the Israeli government.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee called out Khanna for entering a restricted military zone without notifying either the U.S. Embassy or Israeli authorities in advance.

“He did not let us know he was coming,” Huckabee said. “Most of the time, a member of Congress, if they’re coming to the country, they coordinate with us.”
Khanna said in the aftermath of the contrived furor that it will serve to inform his thinking ahead of a potential 2028 presidential campaign.
These leftists are serving up Kool-Aid to a radical base that is bored with scapegoating Trump for everything and thus want to drag in the Jews. It is as tiresome as it is predictable.
Much like their recent fascination over the dead ideology of socialism, the Left’s infatuation with anti-Israel sentiment is more than a passing fad.
Today’s Democrats are like moths drawn to a flame. They are children playing with fire who don’t even know it’s hot.
