
Veteran Matthew Dellavedova has been left out of Australia’s 13-man squad for their three warm-up games ahead of the Basketball World Cup.

The Boomers will play matches against Venezuela, Brazil and South Sudan in Melbourne on August 14, 16 and 17.
A three-time Olympian and two-time World Cup representative, former NBA champion Dellavedova has been a leader on and off the court for Australia.
He was a member of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze-medal winning team and captained the side during the World Cup qualifying window in Melbourne last June.
Young star Will McDowell-White, who played a key role in the qualifiers and was part of the gold-medal winning Asia Cup effort last year, also misses out.
The Boomers completed their camp in Cairns with a game against the University of Houston.
Jock Landale, who rolled his ankle and will likely miss the games in Melbourne, is expected to make a full recovery and head to Japan with the squad.
The World Cup is being played in Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10.
