LGBT-BLM Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed robbery victims for the crimes of their attackers, telling citizens of Chicago that her solution for curtailing crime in the rabidly dangerous city is for people to stop carrying cash. Lightfoot is currently seeking re-election to another term as Mayor of Chicago, with a 9-candidate election slated for February 28th. Every single one of them is a Democrat.

Candidates for Mayor of Chicago gathered last night for a debate, sponsored by ABC7 News, which largely became focused on the city’s out-of-control crime, which makes regular headlines not just in the United States, but all over the globe, despite an intensely-enforced gun control program. Lately, property crimes and muggings have skyrocketed, as those walking down the street, or operating food trucks are being targeted on a regular basis.

When asked for her solution to combatting robberies, incumbent Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot told the citizens of Chicago to stop carrying cash, but only after she was pressed for an actual answer by the debate’s moderator.

“We’ve heard a lot of rhetoric, a lot of soundbites, but not a lot of solutions on how we get the job done and make our residents and our workers safe. We’re doing it every single day,” Lightfoot said.

“I think the follow-up is, you’re solution is?” the moderator interjected.

“I just explained it. We have been in Little Village, working with those street vendors, understanding what the nature of the crime is, making sure that we’re doing things in concert with them to help them,” Lightfoot claimed, before telling citizens to stop carrying cash, which she refers to as plain old “money.”

“Making sure their money is secure, not use money if at all possible, using other forms of transactions to take care of themselves,” said Lightfoot.

Throughout her time as Mayor, Lori Lightfoot has been blasted for being completely out of touch with her constituents and having a carefree attitude towards the violent crime and mayhem that’s long plagued Chicago, one of America’s biggest, and formerly proudest cities.

“Many of us thought that this administration would raise the bar, but all we’ve seen is raised bridges, attempts to raise taxes, and a raised murder rate,” mayoral candidate Kam Buckner said during the ABC7 debate, dredging up Lightfoot’s decision to raise Chicago’s draw bridges during the BLM riots of 2020 – a move that kept her luxury neighborhood out of rioter’s crosshairs while feeding poor and working-class neighborhoods to the wolves.

There’s an “85 percent chance that you can get away with murder [in Chicago] and not be convicted,” said candidate Chuy Garcia who’s currently a Democrat member of Congress, adding that Lori Lightfoot’s tenure as Mayor has “emboldened criminals.”

Despite Chicago’s out-of-control crime levels, Lori Lightfoot, aided by her female, LGBT, and minority status, has been hailed by many on the radical left for her social issue activism on the national stage.

She’s been blasted though, but Chicago locals, for leaving the city to burn while she takes the stage in defense of abortion and her draconian COVID jab mandates – portions of which were struck down in court.

At June gay “pride” event, Lightfoot screamed “f*ck Clarence Thomas” as she embarked on a deranged rant against unborn children and American values – all while Chicago racked up 723 murders on the year, once again making it America’s deadliest city.
