According to the Prosecutor’s Office, they were alleged members of a criminal group from Chilchota.
In a property set up as a clandestine camp, this Thursday the bodies of seven men, alleged members of a criminal group in the municipality of Chilchota, were located.
The subjects have gunshot wounds, the first investigations indicate that they were executed as part of the fight that criminal groups maintain for control of the territory.
Municipal authorities confirmed that it was a citizen report that alerted about the multiple crimes in a field adjacent to the community of Huecato, military and police personnel traveled to the place and corroborated the facts.
At the scene it was found that the land had been set up as a camp with spaces for surveillance and for preparing food as well as spaces for sleeping.
In addition, the bodies of seven men, not yet identified, were found with blows to different parts of the body as well as gunshot wounds, while two of them were decapitated. All seven were wearing tactical clothing and footwear.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) was informed of the discovery, expert personnel went to the scene and carried out the legal actions so that the bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service.
