Edgar: A woman which authorities say is a member of a gang of hitmen for the Artistas Asesinos, responsible for up to 25 recent crimes, has been indicted. She was directly accused of killing three men who were dismembered afterwards. Johana, go ahead with your report.
Johana: Good evening Edgar. A hitwoman has been indicted who was found to be associated with the criminal group Artistas Asesinos. She is linked to the recent homicides of three individuals.
Maria Yesenia F. R. is accused of the crimes that took place on the 31st of August 2023 in the Parajes del Sol neighborhood. These events occurred inside a house located on Calle Estardante. She killed Omar L.B., Misael S.R., and Manuel M.H. there. Afterwards, the bodies of her victims were found decapitated at the intersection of Refugio de la Libertad Street and Manuel Talamas Camandari Avenue.
It’s worth mentioning that her arrest warrant was served on December 29th. And that she is currently confined in the Women’s Social Reinsertion Center #2 (CERESO) in Ciudad Juarez.
Edgar: We are seeng the images of that terrible discovery on the screen. I remember this crime very well. They were the first victims to appear in these circumstances in a field near Manuel Talamas Camandari Avenue. This is a highly trafficked area. The questioning then was how is it possible that no authority was able to detect these criminals in several vehicles who carried the dismembered bodies in bags. That then dumped them out in the open like they were just garbage.
* The Artistas Asesinos (also known as Doble A or AA) is a Mexican street gang that works as an enforcement wing of the Sinaloa Cartel in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
