Rosa Isabel “G”, 37 years old, was identified as Rosa Isabel “G”, the woman who was found dead early Thursday morning on a sidewalk in the municipality of El Rosario.
The body of the woman was left outside a convenience store in the area of the arches in the municipality, and showed signs of torture and gunshot wounds; also, a blanket was left on one side.
Rosa Isabel was reportedly deprived of her freedom last Friday, December 20 in Colonia El Tierral. Since then, her family started a campaign to try to find her whereabouts, without success, until this day when her body was located and later identified by her relatives.
The woman’s body was abandoned on the sidewalk in the parking lot of a convenience store, under some trees and next to a banner with an intimidating message against antagonist groups.
After the discovery of the woman’s body, personnel from the Sinaloa State Attorney General’s Office arrived to conduct the pertinent investigations and later ordered the transfer of the body for legal studies and subsequent delivery to her relatives.
