The incident followed a pair of free throws from Anunoby that gave the Knicks a 50-point lead in the second quarter.
A scuffle ensued, sending an official to the floor as players from both teams got involved.
The Hawks’ Onyeka Okongwu and Knicks’ Jalen Brunson held Robinson back as the fight inched toward fans sitting courtside.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker and several coaches pulled Daniels away, including Hawks head coach Quin Snyder.

Robinson was also ejected from the game.
The Knicks won comfortably 140-89 to claim a 4-2 series victory and eliminate the Hawks from the play-offs.
Daniels did not receive much support on X after footage of the incident was posted.
One X user referred to Daniels as the “Great Barrier Loser”, which is a play on his nickname “Great Barrier Thief”.
Another user referred to Daniels’s behaviour as “pathetic”.
The Hawks’ 83-36 deficit was the largest at half-time in NBA play-off history.
It was second overall, when including regular-season games, trailing only Dallas’ 77-27 lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in 2020. The Mavericks went on to win 124-73.
The Knicks will face the winner of the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers series in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
