Global insurance broker Gallagher has announced the appointment of Jamie Gee as Associate Director within its financial lines practice in the Middle East and Africa business.
Daniel Miller, Divisional Director of Gallagher, commented on the hire, “Jamie brings fantastic technical knowledge and strengthens our existing capability and proposition. His experience in handling complex cyber claims gives us an excellent foundation to develop further cyber products and support our clients against the significant threat of cyber-attacks.

Gallagher’s aim is to develop an offering by using the resources of Middle Eastern countries and their rapid adoption of digitisation, which has made the region a prime target for cyber threats.
Gee’s extensive experience in handling cyber losses will provide the company with a competitive edge. His remit in the role is to work closely with clients to help them understand this fast-evolving area of risk that is presenting significant challenges to firms.
Gee started his career at PwC as a Chartered Accountant, at its Aberdeen office. Later moving to the role of a Senior Associate at PwC Dubai’s Assurance practice with a focus on the Energy sector.
Since then he has subsequently held senior positions at both Crawford & Company and ASL in the region.
