Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) did an interview with Fox’s Peter Doocy on Sunday, in which Doocy asked him about two of the week’s hot topics: the Republican Senate primary in his home state and Kamala Harris’ “no bad ideas brainstorm.”

As we reported, Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) lost the primary, coming in third, despite being the incumbent. President Donald Trump endorsed challenger Julia Letlow, and she won the primary. Louisiana’s current state Treasurer, John Fleming, came in second.

Kennedy said it was obvious Cassidy was going to have a problem.
Senator John Kennedy just delivered a one-minute comedy routine when asked about what happened in his home state of Louisiana last night.
Kennedy is staying neutral in the runoff — unless someone brings up his “mama.”

“Well, Peter, here’s the way I see it. Unless you’re God’s perfect idiot, the result was predictable. I mean, ground control to major Tom, the polls have shown for well over a year that Senator Cassidy was in trouble.I think the president’s endorsement of Congresswoman Letlow was sort of the icing on the cake.”
Kennedy said he thanked Cassidy for his service, and that now they were going to have a run-off “between two fine people.”

“For what worth, I don’t plan to get involved. A wise man once said nothing. Why? Because he’s a wise man. But I don’t plan on weighing in, and, you know, if one of them starts talking about my mama, I might. But otherwise I’m just going to vote like everybody else.”
That had Doocy just laughing up a storm.
Then there was Kamala Harris, who was promoting a “no bad ideas” push to fight against Republicans. She then laid out a raft of bad ideas that would undermine our Republic, including packing the Supreme Court and targeting the Electoral College.

Kennedy also summed up Kamala Harris’ raft of “bad ideas” as a “winner” issue for the Democrats, as only he can.

“Well, look — I don’t have anything against the vice president. I served in the Senate with her. She’s a woketopus.”

That also had Doocy laughing. But the ideas just show how extreme and desperate the Democrats are.
Kennedy said Harris was “pandering to the loon wing of her party.”
“Nobody has ever accused the vice president of being a policy maven. Um, sometimes she, I don’t know, she acts like she has a billy goat brain and a mockingbird mouth, and that’s a dangerous combination.
“My personal opinion is, for what it’s worth, is that, uh, she’s done, you know? She’s a smoked turkey. She had her, had her chance, and had her shot, and she missed it.
“I don’t think she’ll be the Democratic nominee. I would love for her to be the Democratic nominee. And if it looks like she gets any momentum, I will happily contribute to her campaign because she would be our dream candidate. But I think she’s a smoked turkey, frankly.”
Yes, please, put Harris forward — she’s the living embodiment of how bad their “ideas” are.
