Live: Bombers staring at another heavy loss as Lions shift gears

Lachie Neale sent the ball inside the attacking 50 to find Cam Rayner, who took a brilliant mark.

Instead of taking the set-shot, Rayner quickly handballed to a running Kai Lohmann lurking in support.

Lohmann sneaked through a goal with the outside of his right boot, pushing the Lions out to a 63-point buffer.

Hugh McCluggage was left on his own by the Bombers defence before he kicked his first goal of the match.

The Lions moved the ball up the ground to find McCluggage, who took an uncontested mark inside the arc.

He converted to establish a 57-point lead for the Lions.

Make that 53 points, as Cam Rayner and Kai Lohmann go back to back for the defending premiers.

The Lions are rewarded for swiftly moving the ball out of their defensive 50 to set up Zac Bailey for his third major.

The ball made its way to the opposite end of the field, with Bailey marking in the pocket.

He played on and kicked around the corner to extend the Lions lead to 41 points.
