Will Setterfield snaps through a goal right on the siren, but it’s Fremantle’s afternoon as the Dockers record a ninth-straight win.

The second half was academic out here, to be honest, with this match set-up in the first half, when Freo skipped out to a 52-point half-time lead.

Essendon made the scoreline look a little bit more respectable after half-time, but Brad Scott will be wondering where that was in the first two quarters.

Former Bomber Pat Voss was excellent up forward, finishing with five straight goals.

Essendon’s Archie Roberts winds up the leading ball-winner on the ground with 30 disposals, while Murphy Reid led the way for the Dockers with 29 touches.

Bombers star Sam Durham leads all players with seven clearances, while Caleb Serong was Fremantle’s clearance leader with six.

The final stats look a lot more even than this game actually was. Freo won the inside 50 count 52-47, while Essendon won the clearances 32-30.

A word for Essendon youngster Sullivan Robey, who was outstanding with 22 touches, six inside 50s, five clearances and two goals coming off a Rising Star nomination last week.
