The Dockers have belted the Demons around the ball, with Melbourne on track for some dismally low contested ball numbers at this rate. Fremantle’s forward line has been absolutely ruthlessly efficient too to punish every error and poor effort from the Dees’ defence.
It’s a stunning first half from Fremantle, who have been threatening something like this for large portions of this season. The Dockers have just been waiting for everything to click and with a top eight spot on offer today, it looked like that day might have arrived.
Melbourne has a mountain to climb.
