The Eagles take over in Chiefs territory

By Michael Doyle

Here comes Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles offence.

Before the start of the half, I said 30 points may be enough to win the Super Bowl. By that reckoning, a field goal from this drive should be enough.

A touchdown here will surely be a knock-out blow.

The Kansas City Chiefs have struggled.

They have just two first downs. TWO. One of them was their first offensive play.

The Chiefs’ offence has not crossed mid-field.

It is stunning what the Eagles have done so far.

It will be 3rd and goal from the Chiefs’ six-yard line. A touchdown could be a fatal blow.

Hurts is back, looks around, and throws it out of bounds. Smart play from Hurts.

Social media is lighting up over the moment. Williams and Drake are rumoured to have dated on and off between 2011 and 2015, so was her appearance a subtle dig?

“I did NOT crip walk like that at Wimbledon,” Williams said on X after the performance.

For the unaware, Williams did in fact Crip Walk in celebration after beating Maria Sharapova in the final at the London 2012 Olympics.

Can the Chiefs comeback and win?

By Michael Doyle

Is this salvageable? I have no clue how American football works?

– Question

In short, yes. This game is salvageable for the Chiefs.

The New England Patriots famously came from 25 points down in the third quarter to beat the Atlanta Falcons a few years ago.

But it would need the Chiefs to play perfect football, and the Eagles to fall off a cliff.

All the Eagles need to do it control the ball and score when they can.

Twenty-four points may not be enough to win the Super Bowl, but 30 probably will.
