The $13 million man returns for Newcastle

By Michael Doyle

The Newcastle Knights will be thrilled to have Dylan Brown back in the side, after he suffered a knee injury in round two.

Brown was signed by the Knights, from Parramatta, on a 10-year, $13 million deal. So, you can imagine what the Knights hierarchy would have been thinking when the half went down in round two.

But Brown is back to and comes into a side that has done pretty well in his absence.

The Knights have four wins and two losses so far this season, but are coming off a disappointing 42-22 loss to Wests Tigers last weekend.

But Newcastle has been one of the worst-hit teams with injuries.

Kayln Ponga, Bradman Best, Dylan Lucas and Tyson Frizell are key players who are not available this afternoon.

The return of Brown is a big boost for a Knights team that would love to maintain the positive feeling around the group after six rounds.
