What’s going on in Sinaloa? Heavy military operation reported in Badiraguato
With helicopters, drones and airplanes! During the morning of September 30, residents of the municipality of Badiraguato, Sinaloa, have reported a strong military operation.
The alleged military deployment, cataloged as the largest that has been recorded in Badiraguato, Sinaloa, since the search for ‘El Chapo’ in 2016, takes place in the mountainous region of the municipality: from La Tuna, to San Jose del Barranco and Santa Gertrudis.
It is worth noting that the area of ‘La Tuna’ is a region of Badiraguato famous for being the place where legendary former drug trafficker Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán lived as a teenager.

The alleged military operation, which so far has not been confirmed by the Sinaloa authorities, operates with the presence of helicopters, drones and airplanes that fly over the borders of Badiraguato.
Videos of the event have already begun to circulate on social networks, where the aircraft can be seen flying over the area, which has generated a question among the population: what is happening in Badiraguato, Sinaloa?

For their part, residents of the municipality known as ‘The land of El Chapo’ have reported detonations with high caliber weapons in the area, so they have alerted those close to them, asking them to avoid leaving their homes at all costs, if not necessary.
“We have heard bursts of machine gun fire, that’s why people are worried,” is perceived in one of the videos circulating on social networks.
Meanwhile, the presence of various military operations is also reported on the Badiraguato-Parral highway, from Soyatita to La Palma, to La Tuna and San José del Barranco.
Unofficially, it is mentioned that the heavy mobilization could be related to the attack perpetuated last Saturday, September 23, when a violent incident took place in the mountainous region, where three people were attacked: one person died and two others were wounded.

Additional Footage circulated of two presumed Beechcraft T-6C Texan II providing aerial support during the operation, the same aircraft had participated in the January 5th capture of Ovidio Guzmán López ‘El Raton,’ a leader of the ‘Los Chapitos’ faction of the Sinaloa Cartel in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
According to the newspublication Ríodoce, the operation is taking place in the region between La Tuna and Santa Gertrudis, with the alleged presence of military personnel along the Badiraguato – Parral highway.
