Live: Warriors vs Titans at Mt Smart Stadium
The Titans go further in front!
The Titans are pushing hard after that Watene-Zelezniak sinbinning, and the Warriors are doing their utmost to just hang in there.
They can’t.
Jojo Fifita barrels his way through a sea of Warriors and puts the ball down.
It’s a really strong, commanding run, but it’s touch and go as three blue shirts converge on him.
Does he get that ball down?
The bunker says he does!
The conversion is good and the Titans have a 14-point lead!

55′ Watene-Zelezniak sent to sinbin for professional foul
AJ Brimson works out a deft little kick close to the try-line, the ball makes its way towards the try-line and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak absolutely leathers his opponent who is almost over.
The incident is sent to the bunker, a penalty try is ruled out quickly, but Watene-Zelezniak is rightly sent to the sin-bin.

53′ Warriors trying to reassert themselves
The Warriors are looking a bit shellshocked here as the Titans continue to push after that try.
The hosts are given a chance to gather their breath courtesy of a penalty for a high tackle.
The Warriors have their first set of six in enemy territory for the second half.
And they make good inroads, with a Boyd kick almost gathered by Leka Halasima just out from the line.
However, all the 19-year-old can do is knock it on, and the Titans can restart.
The Titans extend their unlikely lead!
The Titans are really asserting themselves here, making the most of a couple set restarts.
The ball finds its way to Kieran Foran, playing his last game in New Zealand, who floats out a beautiful pass over a couple Warriors to find Phill Sami wide on the right.
Sami rushes on and slides over for a try!

The conversion is good and the Titans have an unlikely eight point lead!

45′ Titans edging the contest
We’ve seen a bit of an arm wrestle to begin the second set of 40, with both sides trading a couple completed sets.
The Titans create the first real opportunity of the game, with a spiralled kick on the last ricocheting off a Warriors body and then a Titans one.
The ball is eventually collected by Jaylan de Groot and put down right in the corner – but that’s no try. It’s called for a double knock on and the Titans have a fresh set of six.

We’re back underway in Auckalnd
The Titans thump the kick off and it’s collected by the Warriors on the bounce.
How telling will the absence of Wayde Egan be for the home side in this second half?
The Warriors survived a Titans onslaught late in the first half and they’ve begun the second with more authority, gaining good ground on their first set of six.
HT: Warriors 10 -12 Titans

When the high-flying Warriors were up 10-0 after ten minutes, there were long odds on the hapless Titans heading into the break with the lead.
However, Gold Coast fought back admirably, scoring two tries to be level before the half’s midway point, as Wayde Egan’s head knock and failed HIA well and truly took the wind out of the Warriors wings.
Jayden Campbell’s penalty goal the difference between the two sides as the Titans dream of the most unlikely of boilovers.

39′ Warriors come close
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck receives the ball wide on the left and sprints 10 metres towards the try line.
It looks like he might just get there, but a despairing Titans dive stops him just in time.
The pass he received is called forward, so it’s all academic anyway.

36′ A rare mistake from Tuivasa-Sheck
He has been at the heart of everything good for the Warriors so far today, but Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is responsible for a very pedestrian turnover.
He takes his eye off the ball as receives a regulation pass and knocks it on.
The Titans have a chance to apply some pressure before half-time, but are pinged for a knock-on.

34′ Fermor leaves field for HIA
A couple sets ago, the Titans’ Beau Fermor landed very awkwardly on his head.
He looked pretty wobbly getting up from the fray, but only now does the independent doctor request Fermor leaves the field for an HIA.

31′ Titans take shock lead with penalty goal
Jackson Ford is penalised for some contact and pressure on the neck in the tackle and the Titans have a chance to go in front with a penalty goal.
Jayden Campbell slots it from right in front and the Titans take a shock 12-10 lead in Auckland.
24′ Egan ruled out of match after HIA
Not good news for the Warriors.

Wayde Egan, after taking that early knock to the head, has failed his HIA check.
He’s returned to the bench but will play no further part in today’s game.

20′ Warriors on the back foot
After 10 minutes of domination, the Warriors are on the back foot here.
There’re some worrying signs for Kurt Capewell, who has been seen clutching his shoulder and in some discomfort.
The Warriors have their first foray forward for some time, which ends in a Tanah Boyd spiraller that is collected by a Titans body on his line.
The Titans go back to back!
And it’s Phillip Sami who pops up on the left!
Gold Coast had been awarded a couple of set restarts and were all-of-a-sudden all over their hosts.
The ball was worked out from the middle via good work from Chris Randall and Kieran Foran, allowing for Sami to dive over and tie things up.
Jayden Campbell misses a tough conversion and it’s 10-all in Auckland!
The Titans hit back!
They certainly needed that.
The Titans score a try with what was really their first noteworthy attack of the game.
Gold Coast scythed through the Warriors backline, with Jayden Campbell finding green grass to run into before laying it off to Jojo Fifita on his right, who makes no mistake in putting it down.

The conversion is good.
10-6 in Auckland.
Halasima goes over for the Warriors!
Another barnstorming run from Leka Halasima ends in the 19-year-old bundling through a couple Gold Coast bodies and putting the ball down.
It was all made possible by a lovely deft little lay off from Fisher-Harris after the Warriors were awarded yet another set restart.
Tanah Boyd hits the post with the conversion attempt and the score is 10-0 with 10 minutes gone.
Things could get very ugly very quickly here.

7′ High contact from Fotuaika
Wayde Egan cops a pretty nasty high shoulder from Moeaki Fotuaika in the tackle.
You can tell he’s stinging as Egan grinds his jaw. The Warriors get a penalty but Fotuaika escapes any further punishment.
Warriors go up early!
Well, that didn’t take long.
It was the first time the Warriors had made any significant inroads into the red zone, and boy, they looked menacing.
Adam Pompey is too strong and bundles past Jojo Fifita to put the ball down.
Tanah Boyd, guilty of some wayward kicking last week against the Tigers, slots the conversion.
