Oh, my gosh, CNN is onto the big scandal.
It isn’t the fraud in Minnesota or multiple other states. It isn’t the children trafficked over the border under the Biden administration that they failed to track.

It’s the algae in the Reflecting Pool.

Our sister site, Townhall, reported that CNN was actually doing an investigation into the algae in the Reflecting Pool after the Trump administration repaired it. They even went to the trouble of testing it to determine that yes, the algae was…wait for it…algae.

Talk about peak CNN being CNN.
One has to wonder where they were all the years that it has been left a mess. Did they even make a peep about that? How about Barack Obama spending $34 million without resolving the issues? But what is this about other than trying to own the president for actually cleaning and repairing the pool?
However, the problem with their story — besides it being silly — is that it’s already being fixed, as the Department of the Interior explained. They said it was part of the normal startup process, and nanobubblers would help maintain it.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool appeared to turn green after algae spread more than a week after $14.2M renovations were completed.

D.C. reporter Emily Miller confirmed the nanobubble use and that the pool was being fixed with its installation.

It’s a pool, CNN, and any other media that want to go all in on being silly. It’s going to require occasional maintenance and adjustment after being such a mess. But now, it’s no longer leaking like a sieve.

The Department of the Interior posted about how it was being addressed.

They said the dead algae would be vacuumed up over the next few days.

Bottom line? It got a major repair, and they’ve made a permanent change to maintain it. Leftists who want to damage American property to attack Trump are nuts. The folks on the left and in the media will try to criticize no matter what, because it’s Trump, and that’s what they’ve been doing for more than ten years.
