Army personnel secured a methamphetamine laboratory in Navolato.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), through the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Regional Control (FECOR) Sinaloa Delegation, initiated an investigation for a crime against health.


According to the investigation, elements of the Sedena, located a property in the vicinity of the town of El Pintor, Navolato, Sinaloa, used for the production of synthetic drugs and handed over the site to the Federal Ministerial Police and personnel of the Forensic Services, to carry out inspection, processing and investigation.

At the site they seized two thousand 999 liters and two thousand kilos of substance containing methamphetamine, nine thousand 309 liters of hydrochloric acid, three thousand 89 liters of substance containing benzyl cyanide, one thousand 999 liters of acetone, one thousand 699 liters of phenyl acetic acid, one thousand 339 liters 98 milliliters of phenyl-2 propanone, one thousand 249 liters 96 milliliters of toluene and 699 liters 99 milliliters of monomethylamine-2 propanone.

They also seized centrifuges, gas tanks, drums, reactors, pots and tubs, among others.

The seized items were handed over to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office, who initiated the investigation against the person or persons responsible for the aforementioned crime.
