The location in which municipalities or city the felines were secured was not specified, however this Monday through a statement on social networks of the Federal Attorney General’s Office for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA), where it reported that a request from the Attorney General’s Office was met to conduct a physical inspection of identification, handling, transfer and safeguarding of 3 Bengal tigers (Panthera tigris).
The felines were located during two searches; in the first one, an adult male tiger was identified inside a cage in apparent good physical and health condition; in the second one, 2 tigers were identified inside a cage, an adult male and a female in apparent good physical and health condition.
The tigers were transferred to a PIMVS for veterinary care and proper protection.
It was later learned that one of the properties belongs to criminal leader NĂ©stor Isidro PĂ©rez Salas ‘El Nini’, who boasted about the animals on social networks.
PĂ©rez Salas works directly for Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, Ă“scar NoĂ© Medina González, and has responsibility within Los Chapitos’ security apparatus for the Sinaloa Cartel’s security in the state of Sinaloa.
Perez Salas is also one of the leaders and commanders of the “Ninis,” a particularly violent security group for Los Chapitos.” –@LaMsakr3
