Anti-gun activists know that passage of their favored gun control laws leads to a spike in sales in the short term, but they’re willing to make that trade-off because once a law takes effect its impact will be felt for as long as it remains in place.
HotAir — It Was Scott Bessent’s Turn Behind the Press Podium and Oh, My
The smile never left his face, and yet, so jovially lethal.
PJ Media — Now We Know Who Was Really Behind E Jean Carroll’s Bogus Allegations Against Trump
What conservatives have been saying for years is now getting the scrutiny it deserves.
Townhall — We Know How Jill Biden Reacted to Joe’s Prostate Cancer Diagnosis
And given the ongoing cover-up to hide Joe Biden’s very visible decline in mental health, this only added to the palace intrigue of what else was being hidden about Mr. Biden’s condition.

Psh. The Democrats can have her.
WHAT’S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill…
It’s Friday, so the critters wouldn’t normally be up to much (good) anyway, but they’re finishing out a District Work Week. They’re definitely eyeing up the midterms, though.

President Trump is set to attend the G7 Summit in Évian-Les-Bains, France, in mid-June.
MORNING MUSING
The Trump administration is working feverishly to clean up the Swamp — both figuratively and literally. We’ve seen the results of those clean-up efforts recently and, to me, it drives home the stark contrast between worldviews: decay vs. renewal; grime vs. cleanliness; ugly v. beautiful. Bob Hoge wrote on the stunning turnaround for D.C.’s Columbus Circle on Thursday.
