Cancun, March 5. – The large drug shipments that move along the coasts of Quintana Roo continue to be more active than ever, and proof of this are packages of cocaine that have been registered in the last 72 hours, both in the north and in the south.
The first package was discovered on Thursday by elements of the Mexican Army in the coastal area known as Tampalam, on the way to Pulticub, Bacalar.
It was a sack containing 20 rectangular packages, all with approximately one kilo of cocaine.
The other seizure was made yesterday, but this time in the north of the state, on the beach of the Cid Hotel in the municipality of Puerto Morelos.
The Navy secured a costal, which contained 17 packages with a total weight of approximately 19.5 kilos of cocaine.
On both sides, the packages had Duracell engraved on them, so it is presumed that they were from the same shipment.
The seized drugs were handed over to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
