The Guardian warns of what it calls a “tsunami” of dangerous vapes arriving in the UK. It says trading standards agents have already seized more than two-and-a-half million sub-standard devices since the beginning of 2020. The Department of Health says it’s taking “bold action” to tackle the problem.
