One gets pretty jaded, writing about the issues of the day. Some of these issues are deadly serious, while some are just troubling.
Once in a while, though, one stumbles across a piece of unintentional comedy. On Tuesday, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps‘ propaganda outlet on X (Yes, they have one) posted a video loudly proclaiming that the IRGC has “begun assassinations within Israel” using a drone. They were, of course, lying. Painfully and obviously so.

How so? Watch:
Iran has begun assassinations inside Israel.. This is one of the successful operations carried out by the IRGC within Israel using a drone! 🇮🇷🇮🇱 pic.twitter.com/vXBQ6dqYXD

Did you get that? That’s right – the Iranian/IRGC “drone” was an American A-10, going BRRRRT on a target that absolutely wasn’t in Israel. And yes, this actually made me burst out laughing when I first viewed it. That’s not easy to do these days.

We really do know to expect this. The Iranians are such inept propagandists as to make the late, unlamented Baghdad Bob look like Ernie Pyle. Some of their attempts have presented us with some of the best unintentional comedy on the internet, and that’s really saying something. But this effort, this one’s a real belly-buster. Do these idiots now know what an A-10 looks like? To be fair, the IRGC people who have actually seen an A-10 may not have survived to talk about it, as there’s not much of anything better than the Warthog at making bad terrorists into good terrorists. But they had to know it wasn’t an IRGC drone, or anything else Iran can produce. This isn’t just bad; it’s laughably bad. An American fourth-grader could produce a more convincing video on his tablet than this fakery.

This may be the worst the IRGC’s online spokesdroid has come up with, and it’s up against some pretty stiff competition. A few examples:
Granted, this is a repost from some equally inept propaganda outlet, but it’s too good not to share:
🚨 BREAKING |
North Korean fighter jets are now heading toward America. Military operations are underway. Tonight will be critical for America. Pray for the Army. 🇰🇵🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/FZP07T49J1— GBX (@GBX_Global) July 23, 2026
Well, keep your eyes peeled for North Korean fighter jets, I suppose, if you can keep your eyes open while you’re lying on the floor laughing.

If this was even remotely within their capabilities, well, then, why wait? Another painfully bad effort.
There’s more, but you get the idea.
Now, it’s a near-certainty that these ridiculous efforts are intended for internal consumption. Americans and Israelis aren’t going to buy any of this obvious horse squeeze, with few exceptions that are on the nutbar fringe here. But the useful idiots that the IRGC regularly consumes in their operations? Most of the line soldiers of the IRGC and groups like them have a few things in common: They aren’t well-educated, they aren’t very smart, and they have some confidence in their leadership that is anything but warranted.

That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t point and laugh at them, though. Especially at the goblin who thought they could pass an A-10 off as an Iranian drone.
BRRRRT!
Editor’s Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
