RR of CJNG Openly Runs Ixtlahuacán del Río

Residents of the once peaceful Ixtlahuacán del Río, tired of friends and family disappearing, and on the condition of giving their testimonies under anonymity, reveal that the RR – which measures approximately 1.65 centimeters, dark brown complexion, regular complexion – and its subordinates affected their lifestyle, and that there is no authority to stop them.

Alleged accomplices

Although Commander Roberto Alejandro Flores appears on the payroll, the mayor said he did not know him, only José Pedro Sánchez Rojo who is also accused of being allegedly related to El RR.

On the payroll published on the transparency portal, it is reported that there are only 25 line police officers, two commanders and the commissioner. “I have about 30 police officers but I don’t know them all, personally,” he said.

He said that “we have control bodies within the same municipality, there is no complaint of that nature against any element.”

In 2021, only one complaint was filed for the illegal deprivation of liberty and one for the disappearance.
