Narco-blockades reported in San Juan de los Lagos
This afternoon two narco-blockades between armed groups were reported in San Juan de los Lagos, so far no casualties have been reported.
The first event occurred on the San Juan de los Lagos-Encarnacion highway and according to several videos circulating on social networks, containers can be seen obstructing the passage of cars.
The events reportedly occurred today, July 11, during the middle of the day.
In the videos you can see two Cemento Cruz Azul tractor trailers that were positioned across the highway and set on fire near San Sebastián del Oeste.
It is presumed that the drug blockade was the result of a confrontation between criminal groups.
The second blockade took place near the El Alamo beach resort, on the Lagos de Moreno to Encarnacion de Diaz highway, where a pickup truck was set on fire.
