“Sol Prendido” for Borderland Beat
Following the discovery of the lifeless and dismembered body of a person in a plaza on Highway 57, in the capital city, agents of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) began investigations to clarify the homicide.
It was in the early morning of this Monday, January 30, 2023, that it was reported to the authorities that in the parking lot of that place, the victim’s body was found with traces of violence.
The Forensic Services of the Scientific Deputy Prosecutor’s Office went to perform the removal of the body, which showed signs of mutilation.
The evidence was taken to the Servicio Médico Legal (SEMELE) to perform the necropsy.
So far, the identity of the man is unknown. The Investigation Police (PDI) is carrying out the proceedings to identify him, and find out who caused the homicide.
