Armed aggression between armed civilians in front of the Oxxo on the San Vicente – San Quintin highway on Niños Heroes and Melchor Ocampo streets.
There is talk of at least 15 people shot and 6 of them dead.
Among the first comments there is talk of the death of some members from the Arellano Félix Cartel.



After the armed attack that occurred in the San Vicente delegation, which left 9 people wounded and 10 dead, the Government of Ensenada informed that it is in close coordination with the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office, in order to assist in the investigations that lead to the clarification of the facts.
Mayor Armando Ayala Robles regretted the attack perpetrated against ATV racers participating in the activities of the event called “Cachanillazo”, whose participants left this Saturday morning from the Playa Hermosa area.
“I am in permanent communication with the State Attorney General’s Office, as well as with federal corporations from the three levels of government to provide all the necessary information. Likewise, surveillance was increased in the delegations of the southern zone of the municipality and operations are active to locate those responsible for the attack,” he said.
He acknowledged the support of the State Attorney General, Ricardo Iván Carpio Sánchez, who commissioned a special investigation group to deal with this unfortunate event.
Public Security informs about armed acts
According to reports from the Municipal Public Security Department (DSPM), at 2:18 p.m. a report was received through the 911 emergency number, alerting about gunshots and several injured people.
The report also indicated that in the area located on the Transpeninsular highway, kilometer 90 in the area of the San Vicente delegation, a recent model gray van arrived, from which people got out and began to shoot with long arms at the ATV vehicles.
Personnel from the Municipal Police, State Citizen Security Force, Secretary of the Navy, State Investigation Agency (AEI), Secretary of National Defense, Fire Department and Mexican Red Cross went to the area to attend to the emergency.
The Red Cross was in charge of transferring the injured to the urban area of the municipality and two more are being treated in San Vicente.
