“Sol Prendido” for Borderland Beat
The bodies of four men in an advanced state of decomposition were found buried in a safe house in the east of the city.
The men were identified as Eduardo G., Omar Santiago S., Fernando C., and David S., all of them from Uruapan.
According to information obtained by this media outlet, it was learned that last Wednesday, members of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) went to a house on Colorines Street in the Mario Moreno “Cantinflas” neighborhood near the regional hospital.
The property was being investigated for several criminal situations that occurred there, upon inspection they noticed that there were several piles of earth that had been removed.
When they began to excavate, they located the bodies of the four men who, according to their condition, had been dead for about eight days.
The bodies were sent to the local Semefo, where they were identified by their relatives this weekend.
