First Minister Humza Yousaf has confirmed he is terminating the Bute House Agreement “with immediate effect”.
The Bute House Agreement was the SNP’s power-sharing deal with the Scottish Green Party.
The SNP will now form a minority government.
Humza Yousaf made clear it had “served its purpose” and it was in the SNP’s best interest to pursue a different arrangement.
The Scottish Greens said the SNP had “sold out future generations”.
