Joaquín El Chapo Guzmán’s son’s father-in-law, Víctor Manuel Félix Félix, alias “El Señor”, was deported from the United States to Mexico and arrested by the Attorney General’s Office and charged.
El Señor is the father of the wife of Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, El Chapo’s son.
The Special Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime obtained from the First District Court for Federal Criminal Proceedings in the State of Tamaulipas, located in Matamoros, an order of formal imprisonment against him, as he is probably responsible for the crimes of organized crime (hypothesis of crimes against health and operations with resources of illicit origin); and operations with resources of illicit origin.
Victor is linked to the Sinaloa cartel, for which he allegedly carried out bank transactions in Texas, New York, and California in the United States of America; as well as Cancun, Guadalajara, and Mexico City: to do so, he used money exchange houses and trading companies to hide the origin of the funds.
Felix Felix was arrested in 2011 and extradited to the United States in 2017, where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Last May 2, he was released and deported to Mexico.
At the San Ysidro Bridge, in Tijuana, Baja California, elements of the Federal Ministerial Police, attached to the Criminal Investigation Agency, complied with the arrest warrant and he was incarcerated in the Federal Center for Social Readaptation Number 14 Durango.
