Cinthia Deyanira “G”, nicknamed “La Negra”, was arrested in the state of Tamaulipas for the crime of kidnapping.
The woman is considered to be the head of the Northeast Cartel, a branch of Los Zetas, in the city of Mante.
She was detained by members of the General Investigation Unit of Tamaulipas as a result of an arrest warrant for the crime of kidnapping.
Her control also reached neighboring cities such as Xicoténcatl, Gómez Farías, Ocampo, Villa de Llera and Nuevo and Antiguo Morelos.
The authorities offered a 300,000 peso reward for anyone who could provide truthful information to find “La Negra”.
The kidnapping she is alleged to have committed in December 2022.
Once the arrest warrant was served, the police read her her rights and she was handed over to the judge who issued the arrest warrant.
