Democrats were throwing tantrums on Sunday as the Ultimate Fighting Championship event went down at the White House. UFC Freedom 250 was everything you would expect: loud and brimming over with patriotism, with every fight ending in a knockout, even capped off with some terrific fireworks.

As we reported, Hillary Clinton was one of the tantrum throwers, whining about what this was doing to “our house.” Many people then reminded her of what she and her husband did to “our house,” and that she would never live there again.

Hillary Clinton’s Tantrum Over the UFC Fight Gets the Proper Backlash It Deserves

Liberals did some counterprogramming, having an event in New York City, “Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment.” It featured performances or appearances by people like Bette Midler, Joy Reid, and Jane Fonda. Fonda’s advocacy group, Committee for the First Amendment, was behind the event.

Our sister site Townhall reported on a couple of the performances. It did not go well. This was pretty awful from Bette Midler and crew.

This was even worse:

World-class fighting entertainment versus…whatever the heck this is. It’s pretty sad when “entertainers” can’t even sing. Plus, if Trump is such a fascist and his administration is censoring or attacking the First Amendment, how are you all able to hold this event and sing…badly?

“Together or never get there at all,” they whined. I’m thinking it’s the latter.

There was ranting from various speakers, like Joy Reid. She talks about “censorship.” But everything she cites was businesses deciding to dump people they either no longer wanted or who were hurting their bottom line, not censorship.

Warning for graphic language:

Thinking Bari Weiss is a “far right ideologue” is just an indication of how clueless and far left Reid is.

Fonda thought they would go down in history.

“This is our documentary moment,” Fonda told Reuters in an interview. “History is going to write about this, and I don’t want to be on the side of people who said, ‘Oh my God, things are so bad, what am I going to do?’ No. I want to be out in the front.”

Um, you couldn’t even get most people to know you had anything going on. So much for “history.” For sure, it didn’t trump the huge audience for the UFC Freedom 250 event.

Turns out people are more interested in real entertainment and patriotism rather than leftist whining.
