Navolato, Sin.- A group of young people went in several pickup trucks to the town of Yameto and other surrounding communities to distribute food parcels with the acronym “JGL” (JOAQUIN GUZMAN LOERA), this weekend in the municipality of Navolato.
This after tropical storm Norma left the municipality devastated and hundreds of families without their belongings.
The bags delivered with the seal of those initials, had inside them canned food, egg cartons, grains and personal hygiene products.

The families were grateful for the gesture of help since due to the passage of the hurricane and the low shrimp catch, it is very difficult for them to provide food for their homes.
It is worth mentioning that after the passage of storm Norma, the municipality of Navolato was one of the most affected because, in communities such as Las Ilusiones, Villa Juárez, Campo Romero, Las Puentes, El Castillo, Yameto, Dautillos, there were families who lost most of their property.
