It was a catch that brought the crowd to its feet and left the commentators almost speechless.
Playing in his first T20 Blast match for Sussex, debutant Brad Currie created one of the all-time cricket highlights with an outfield catch that had to be seen to be believed.
With Hampshire chasing 183 for victory, and needing 23 runs from 11 balls, all-rounder Benny Howell was looking dangerous after scoring 25 from 14 deliveries.
Facing the internationally capped fast bowler Tymal Mills, Howell hit out with a devastatingly flat and fast sweep that looked almost certain to reach the boundary for a crucial six, leaving Hampshire needing just 17 from the final 10 balls.

“Oh he’s got it,” commentator Mark Butcher called, predicting the ball to clear the boundary.
“He’s … oh my goodness me. Did you ever … see anything like that?”
Flying in from the left of screen, the 24-year-old dived full-length and stuck his left arm out, taking the ball cleanly and standing up nonchalantly to claim the crucial wicket of Howell.
“Filth,” England captain Ben Stokes tweeted after watching the catch.
Currie was named player of the match as Sussex won by six runs, having taken 3-27 in the first innings.
He had learned he was debuting only an hour before the match.
“I think you just act on instinct,” Currie said after the match.
“Out came a flying version of me and it just sort of stuck.”
