It’s a great start for Gold Coast who have kicked the opening four goals of the game, through Ben Long, Noah Anderson, Touk Miller and Ben Ainsworth.
Bailey Humphrey also had a crack with a set shot, but that sailed through for a behind.

It’s the Suns’ midfield are leading the charge, winning the ball and putting pace on it. Gold Coast have five scores from their five entries.
A fantastic start for the Suns, while Adam Kingsley is already have stern words with his side.

Well, it took the Suns just 23 seconds to kick the first goal of the game, through Ben Long.
The Giants gave away a free at the centre circle and were caught napping as Gold Coast took off.
Long got the ball out the back after a marking contest inside 50 and put it through the big sticks.

Let’s talk a look at the Expansion Cup
By Marnie Vinall
By Marnie Vinall
Both GWS and Gold Coast both sit right on the edge within the top eight. The Suns (7th) just ahead of the Giants (8th) on percentage.
If Western Bulldogs defeat Richmond later today, one of them will fall out – which one, today’s result will determine. Unless, of course, it’s a draw and then they’ll both stay in – or Tigers win.

In the 14-year existence of the affectionally dubbed ‘Expansion Cup’, the Giants have won 13 of those last 14 meetings. In fact, the Suns have never won at GWS’ home ground.
The Giants are coming off a spirit-lifting victory against the reining premiers Brisbane, while the Suns are coming off back-to-back losses against Geelong and Fremantle.
